  1. Using PopAddress:

  3. Once you have PopAddress installed in the Control Panel folder and set up, you can start to use it!

  5. 1) Creating a new address:
  6.    a) Select the ‚ÄúNew Address‚Äù option from the PopAddress
  7.        popup menu or use the New Address hotkey (the default
  8.        ‚ÄúHotkey‚Äù is Command-Option-F13, if you want to
  9.        change it to another key, see the ‚ÄúSetting Up
  10.        PopAddress‚Äù chapter above).
  11.    b) Enter data into all appropriate fields 
  12.    c) Click the ‚ÄùOK‚Äù button, create a new address or select
  13.        ‚ÄúQuit‚Äù from the ‚ÄúFile‚Äù menu to save the new record.

  15. 2) Copying selected text from any application and creating a new address:
  16.    a) Select text in any application (such as an email, web
  17.        browsing or word processing application)
  18.    b) Select ‚ÄúCopy Selection for New Address‚Äù from the
  19.        PopAddress popup menu or use the Copy Address hotkey
  20.        (the default ‚ÄúHotkey‚Äù is Command-Option-F12, if you
  21.        want to change it to another key, see the ‚ÄúSetting Up
  22.        PopAddress‚Äù chapter above).
  23.    b) Edit data (if needed) 
  24.    c) Click the ‚ÄùOK‚Äù button, create a new address or select
  25.        ‚ÄúQuit‚Äù from the ‚ÄúFile‚Äù menu to save the new record.

  27. 3) Editing an existing address:
  28.    a) Select ‚ÄúEdit Addresses‚Äù from the PopAddress popup
  29.        menu or use the Edit Address hotkey (the default
  30.        ‚ÄúHotkey‚Äù is Command-Option-F14, if you want to
  31.        change it to another key, see the ‚ÄúSetting Up
  32.        PopAddress‚Äù chapter above).
  33.    b) Edit data, search, print, do anything you like.
  34.    c) Click the ‚ÄùOK‚Äù button or select ‚ÄúQuit‚Äù from the
  35.        ‚ÄúFile‚Äù menu to save the new record.

  37. 4) Searching the PopAddress Database:
  38.    a) Select ‚ÄúSearch‚Äù from the PopAddress popup menu or
  39.        use the Search hotkey (the default ‚ÄúHotkey‚Äù is
  40.        Command-Option-F15, if you want to change it to
  41.        another key, see the ‚ÄúSetting Up PopAddress‚Äù chapter
  42.        above).
  43.    b) Enter text to search for.
  44.    c) Click the ‚ÄùOK‚Äù button to search the database.

  46. 5) Dial a number without opening the PopAddress edit window:
  47.    a) Select a name from the ‚ÄúDial‚Äù menu from the
  48.        PopAddress popup menu.
  49.    b) If using the speaker dial, hold the phone close to the
  50.        Mac‚Äôs speaker before releasing the mouse from the
  51.        name.
  52.    c) If using the modem to dial, make sure your modem
  53.        is on.
  54.    NOTE:  If you hold down the option key while selecting to
  55.    dial, the second phone number will be dialed instead of
  56.    the main number
