- Using PopAddress:

- Once you have PopAddress installed in the Control Panel folder and set up, you can start to use it!

- 1) Creating a new address:
- a) Select the “New Address” option from the PopAddress
- popup menu or use the New Address hotkey (the default
- “Hotkey” is Command-Option-F13, if you want to
- change it to another key, see the “Setting Up
- PopAddress” chapter above).
- b) Enter data into all appropriate fields
- c) Click the ”OK” button, create a new address or select
- “Quit” from the “File” menu to save the new record.

- 2) Copying selected text from any application and creating a new address:
- a) Select text in any application (such as an email, web
- browsing or word processing application)
- b) Select “Copy Selection for New Address” from the
- PopAddress popup menu or use the Copy Address hotkey
- (the default “Hotkey” is Command-Option-F12, if you
- want to change it to another key, see the “Setting Up
- PopAddress” chapter above).
- b) Edit data (if needed)
- c) Click the ”OK” button, create a new address or select
- “Quit” from the “File” menu to save the new record.

- 3) Editing an existing address:
- a) Select “Edit Addresses” from the PopAddress popup
- menu or use the Edit Address hotkey (the default
- “Hotkey” is Command-Option-F14, if you want to
- change it to another key, see the “Setting Up
- PopAddress” chapter above).
- b) Edit data, search, print, do anything you like.
- c) Click the ”OK” button or select “Quit” from the
- “File” menu to save the new record.

- 4) Searching the PopAddress Database:
- a) Select “Search” from the PopAddress popup menu or
- use the Search hotkey (the default “Hotkey” is
- Command-Option-F15, if you want to change it to
- another key, see the “Setting Up PopAddress” chapter
- above).
- b) Enter text to search for.
- c) Click the ”OK” button to search the database.

- 5) Dial a number without opening the PopAddress edit window:
- a) Select a name from the “Dial” menu from the
- PopAddress popup menu.
- b) If using the speaker dial, hold the phone close to the
- Mac’s speaker before releasing the mouse from the
- name.
- c) If using the modem to dial, make sure your modem
- is on.
- NOTE: If you hold down the option key while selecting to
- dial, the second phone number will be dialed instead of
- the main number
